 Punjab has traditionally rich collection of handicrafts to offer the world. While Phulkari is undoubtedly main attraction in the crafts of Punjab, there are several other beautiful, traditional crafts. Many of them amazing and highly specialized, made all over the state. Great handicraft products like Pidhis, Jootis, Durries and Parandis are made all over Punjab. Used as household items or decoratives these crafts reflect Punjabs colorful identity.
Girls are taught the art of weaving durries at a young age. The durries are woven in different sizes and patterns.
